SUSAN KENNEDY

I graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2008.

My themes are simple yet elusive, difficult to quantify and define in language, this is precisely the reason why the process of painting is vital and continuous. Through my use of portraiture and self portraiture I attempt to explore human impermanence and the transcending energy that is captured in a single moment. My work is a reaction of feeling and emotion which cannot be explained but can be witnessed.
